In short
Bloop: Slime Slingshot is a single-player game for Android by Prism Technologies. This page explains, in plain English, what the game keeps and what it sends.
The short answer: the game collects no data and sends nothing to us or to anyone else. Your progress and settings are saved only on your phone. There are no ads, no in-app purchases and no accounts.
What the game keeps on your phone
To remember your game, Bloop saves these things only on your device, inside the app’s private storage:
- Settings: music, sound effects, haptics, aim mode, ghost replays, screen shake, the daily reminder switch and time, and which hints you have seen.
- Progress: unlocked levels, best jumps, stars and gems per level, story scenes seen, skins, Climb, Daily and Weekly Tower records, and best-run ghost paths.
This save never leaves your phone through the game. Other apps cannot read it.
Android backup
If you have turned on Android’s own device backup to your Google account, Android may include this save in that backup and restore it on a new phone. Google runs this backup under your Google account settings. We have no access to it. You can turn it off in your phone’s backup settings.
What the game does not do
- It does not collect your name, email address, location, contacts, photos or your phone’s device IDs.
- It sends nothing to us or to anyone else.
- This version contains no analytics or crash-reporting tools.
- It does not use the Android advertising ID.
Sharing a result card
The Share button makes a picture of your shot or result on your phone and opens Android’s share menu. Nothing is uploaded unless you pick an app to share it with. Then it goes only where you send it.
Daily reminder (optional)
The game can send you one notification a day when the new Daily tower is ready. It is off unless you turn it on: the game offers it once, and you can switch it on or pick its time in Settings > Daily reminder.
- The reminders are scheduled on your phone, by Android. There is no server and no push service.
- Their text is made on your phone from your Daily streak, which stays on your phone. Nothing is sent anywhere.
- You can switch it off any time in Settings > Daily reminder, or turn off Bloop’s notifications in your phone’s Android settings.
Permissions
- Internet and network state: these come from the app’s built-in libraries. This version does not use them to send anything.
- Wake lock: keeps the screen awake while you play.
- Notifications: used only by the optional daily reminder. On Android 13 and newer, Android asks you first, and only when you turn the reminder on.
- Run at startup: lets Android set your reminders again after the phone restarts or the game updates. It does nothing while the reminder is off.
The only permission the game may ask you for is notifications, and only when you turn on the daily reminder. It never asks for camera, storage, location or contacts.
Links that leave the app
The Settings screen has two links:
- Privacy policy opens this page in your browser.
- Send feedback opens your email app.
If you email us, we use your message and email address only to reply to you.
Character voices
The character voices you hear in the game are pre-recorded audio files built into the app. They were made with ElevenLabs. Playing them happens entirely on your phone and sends nothing anywhere.
Deleting your data
Uninstalling the game deletes everything it stored on your phone. To clear only your progress, use Settings > Reset progress. We do not store anything about you anywhere else.
Children
Bloop: Slime Slingshot is made for players aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If a future version adds anonymous statistics, crash reports or Google Play Games leaderboards, we will update this policy before that version is released and change the version number and date at the top.
Version 1.1 adds the optional daily reminder described above. It collects and sends nothing.
